Beyond Liquid Adventures

This August, Liquid Adventures will visit French-speaking Quebec for some of the best whitewater within a day’s drive of the Washington area. Once again we will drive far up into Northern Lights country, to revisit the Black, the Ottawa, the Mistassibi, the  Rouge, and the beautiful and remote Mattawin.

The trip is designed for intermediate and advanced paddlers. There will be some combination of some easier (class III), some harder rivers, (class IV). All that is necessary is to have a roll in class III whitewater, and to be comfortable on the Lower Yough.  The exact rivers we choose will depend on paddlers’ abilities and water levels at the time.

Daily itinerary includes camping out in tents, eating breakfast in camp, exploring and playing a river, having dinner at a local restaurant and driving to the next river.

Prices:   The cost of the Youth and Adults Trip (6 days of paddling) is $795 plus about $100 for restaurant meals.  Prices include breakfasts in camp, lunches on the river, transportation, and leadership.

Registration: For week-long trips, a 30% deposit is required to confirm a reservation with the balance due 30 days in advance of the trip date (We will automatically debit your credit card at your request). Reservations within 30 days of the trip date require full payment with the reservation. After registering, and making payment, please print off a Waiver Form, Health Form, and Equipment List. For persons under 18 on the youth trip, please print off the Youth Permission Form (both parents must sign the form and have it notarized). Bring with you or send to address below the Waiver Form, Health Form and Youth Permission Form (if needed).

Cancellation: If notice is received more than 30 days prior to the trip date, a full refund, will be issued. No refunds or alterations will be issued within 30 days of trip date. We highly recommend Trip Insurance to protect you in case of a sudden need to cancel.
